They are very dissimilar, these are sources that discuss the "other side," of which people in power are against forms of liberation or changes. Even though the authors usually take a stance at least leaning to reform, specifically the one mentioning female circumcision, they make the point that it is their culture and their problem that foreign places aren't giving the right respect to in handling it. It drives the beliefs further conservative, and shuts down a lot of conversation, which is far from what our other documents wanted or even noted. In India's it talks about the steps backwards from reform, which is very surprising.
