Discussion Day 12.10.13 4th period

  1. 1)Why doesn’t the Due Process Clause protect all rights?
    2)If there is truly a separation between church and state, why is “In God we trust” still printed on currency?
    3)Why is seditious speech not protected by the 1st amendment if the acts are merely 4)being discussed and not acted upon at that point?
    Should civil disobedience be protected by the amendments?

    Should "aliens" contract the same rights the United States Citizens hold?

    Section 2:
    Why would the government be "afraid" to implement or revoke some of the laws between church and state? (schools, ect.)

    Section 3:
    Should there be more censorship of the media? Such as motion pictures and the internet? Why or why not?

    Section 4:
    Should the Time-Place-Manner rules be more lenient? Or strict? Why?
