    19.2: how do you think our country would be different if there was no separation of church and state?
    19.3: why is there a limit on seditious speech?

  2. 1.What is the main difference between civil rights and civil liberties?
    2.Will there ever be a case so strong that it will completly change the idea of seperation between state and church?
    3.How can there be limits on what the media can do or say if we have the freedom of speech? How do reporters have shield laws but normal citizens do not?
    4.How can the government regulate assemblies,but not control what is said at the assemblies?

  4. 19.1 : How does federalism, which is a system of government in which powers are divided between a central government and several local governments, affect individual rights?
    19.2: The 1st amendment prohibits an establishment of religion and any arbitrary interference with the free exercise thereof. Do you believe that this could ever be changed?
    19.3: Do you believe the government should have the power to regulate the media including print, radio, television, and the internet?
    19.4: Government has the power to enforce reasonable rules covering the time, place, and manner of assemblies. Do you believe they should be given this power?

    Ch. 19.2 -How do our laws keep the church and state from merging into each other?

    Why do we separate church and state?
    How come we say the pledge but we can legally burn the flag?
    Why should the government be able I set the time manner place rules for protest when we can set up our own?
