  1. The cartoon makes fun of how the President cannot make up his mind about policies. Obama is always changing his mind about what he is doing or going to do or what he says.
**“I didn’t set a red line. The world set a red line.”
President Obama, news conference in Stockholm, Sept. 4, 2013
**“We have been very clear to the Assad regime, but also to other players on the ground, that a red line for us is we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized. That would change my calculus. That would change my equation.”
Obama, remarks to reporters, August 20, 2012
The President says one thing but does another. He has lost the respect of the leaders and citizens around the world and at home.

  2. Good job Jackson. Why do you think he might have changed his mind about setting a firm reason to go to war? Do you think the country wants to get involved in another war after 10 years in Iraq and Afghanistan? How do past wars influence future decisions for presidents?

  3. I felt like this cartoon was strongly making fun of how leniant the president has been on foreign issues; he constantly tries to make truces and continue to give more chances. This is displayed by him saying they have crossed the red line which for us means that they have gone to far and we won't stand for it. In the cartoon it shows he has a red line but if they cross that it is alright because they can cross all these other lines and I will probably continue to give them chances. This is what I pulled from the cartoon.

  4. Good job Chad. How do you think the President's actions are making him look overseas?
