precincts are voting districts. They are the smallest geographic unit for elections. State laws restrict the size of precincts to a general area of 500-1000 people. These people in the precinct report to their local voting place to cast their ballot. The location of the precinct can effect the voting results. This is because some people may not want to travel to their precinct to vote, or are unable to get there. Citizens who are outside the United States can vote electronically or can vote using a mailed ballot. This was found from the website given. However, the website was not very useful other than that. Federal regulations control all the business and make changes a they please. Early voting: People can use the method of absentee voting to send their vote in early without having to go to a certain voting location.
early voting option could cause more people to choose to vote because it becomes less of a hassle, therefore more less informed people that are lazy may end up voting with uneducated votes. This could cause the candidate with the most sponsors or most money to advertise themselves to win the election, instead of the president most suited for the job winning. This is why advertising for presidency is very important now in presidential elections
