Throughout the 1800's and 1900's not one of those exists and everyone seemed to get along fine, how do you feel about our citizens being forced to pay taxes towards these things that were unnecessary in the past and now causing our debt to increase tremendously? 3. Chapter 11 Section 1- 1. Article 1, section 9, clause 5 in the constitution states that congress cannot tax exports. Do you think this will ever be changed?
2. What is the commerce power and how would it affect America if that power was taken away from congress?
Section two- 1. Congress has the power to create all the federal courts below the Supreme Court. They also have the power to define federal crimes and set the punishments that may be imposed on those who violate federal law. Do you believe that congress has too much power ?
