CHAPTER 3 SECTION 3 INFORMAL AMENDMENTS

24 comments:

  1. SUMMARY:
It is the supreme courts job to decide whether or not it is constitutional or not. If a dispute comes up that is not in the constitution, they use other methods such as power of judicial review. Judicial review is the doctrine under which legislative and executive actions are subject to review (and possible invalidation) by the judiciary.

  2. Executive power includes much more
actions and decision making than the particular presidential authority it is said to be.

Is America better off allowing the president to have these executive powers than restricting them to presidential powers?

    1. it is unclear whether the Founding Fathers intended the Supreme Court to have such power and the written record of debate on this issue contains very few references to the power that this body should have or might develop.

Why does congress have so much over what goes into the constitution?
The 2 ways that has been major agent of constitutional change are: it has passed a number of laws to clarify of the constitution's brief provisions and second congress has added to the constitution by e way in which it has used many of its power congress has expanded the constitution.
